You may be wondering why I haven't released many new videos lately. Well, a little while ago I was hospitalized. I needed emergency surgery on my eye. I'm still blind in one eye, and the other is fuzzy, but I'm just now getting to the point where I can function and work again, and most importantly make new videos.
Needless to say, without being able to work, business has slowed. So, if you are at all planning on purchasing more of my training videos, whether for Access, Excel, Word, or anything, I'm offering a 50% discount if you purchase them now, OR consider making a one-time advanced purchase of credit for future lessons. Like I said, I'm finally back in the office and able to work again, so now my primary focus is going to be releasing LOTS of new lessons.
Right now, I'm working on something simple to get "back to work." I'm preparing an informal "Introduction to Access 2019" that I can put up on YouTube to hopefully attract new customers. Yes, you'll get a free copy too. It's a quick rundown of the basics (essentially what's covered in the 3-hour Access Beginner 1 class, but shortened to about half an hour). This is just to get me going again. Following that, I'm going to work on finishing Access Developer 14 which is long overdue. I know lots of you have been waiting for it. I'm going to release at least one new Access Developer lesson per week moving forward. That's a promise. Access is my passion and it's also my bread and butter. It's what I do best, and I love it.
I also am going to be revising my Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint classes. Lots of people have been asking about those. Excel Expert 11 is coming soon too (covering the new XLOOKUP function that Microsoft just released). I also have been outlining Excel Developer 1 with VBA. I just bought myself a bunch of books on Excel VBA so I'll be brushing up my skills to teach you. There will be something for everyone coming soon.
So, if you can find it in your heart and your budget to help me out, NOW is the time I can really use it. Here's a link you can use to get 50% off any of my current products that are available on my web site:
If you would like to do me a HUGE FAVOR and purchase credit to be used for future lessons, you can do so on the following link. I will DOUBLE your payment in credit. So if you spend $500 today, I'll give you $1000 in credit. This would be SO VERY MUCH welcome and appreciated.
I'm also discounting the MYOLP memberships right now for the month of March. The Annual Developer level is normally $1699. I'm lowering it to $1400. The LIFETIME Developer membership is normally $8495. I'm lowering it to just $5000. That's for a LIFETIME of everything that I release. Ever. If you're interested in any of these, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use my contact page and I'll send you an invoice.
Finally, I'm also offering a discount on my custom consulting rates. I normally charge $200 an hour for "offline" consulting. Which basically is handled through email. You email me your questions or needs, and I provide a reply either in email or with a custom video. I'm lowering this to $100 an hour right now if you purchase a minimum of 10 hours. Again, contact me if you're interested.
I'm only able to work a few hours at a time due to my eyesight, so I'm not offering "live" support yet, but if you wish to make a future purchase for some hours of live support, I'd be happy to work something out with you. I do offer live online training or even in-person training. I probably won't be offering live training until at least May or June, when my vision improves, but this is a great way for you to lock in a low rate now. Again, contact me for details.
OK, so that's about it. Again, I really would appreciate anything you can do. I've been in business since 1994, and I've been operating Computer Learning Zone (599CD) since 2004. This is the first time I've ever had to appeal to my customers for help. But I know I have a lot of very loyal fans out there who email me all the time and tell me they love my work. I'm very happy to have helped improve your lives by teaching you some new skills. Well, now the teacher needs a little help from you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
