Read Help with database by Neven M @ 7/7/2018
Hi all!

I have to make a school database (schools and students) for my county/region.

I want to keep track of a school year. For example 2017/2018...

There are multiple schools in each town. For example Zagreb has many schools...

There are primary and high school types of school.

Each school has many classes/grades. For example 2A,3B,3C,4A,8B and so on.

The main purpose is to be able to get this sort of information/report

Student John Smith is currently enroled in First Gymnasium in Zagreb, in 2A grade(class), and the school year is 2017/2018.

Or

Student John Smith attendaced 1 A grade (class) of the First Gymnasium in Zagreb, in the school year 2016/2017

Or

Student John Smith moved to Dubrovnik and will be going to school Dubrovnik high in Dubrovnik, class 3A, in the school year 2018/2019.

I have the following tables set up

StudentT
StudentID
Name
Surname
DOB
Adress
Phone

SchoolT
Name
City
Adress
Phone
Class/Grade

I suppose this is wrong. Do I have to make a separate table for class/grade, city and school. What kind of relationship I have to make?

Please help

Neven

Reply from Alex Hedley:

Yes I'd create two more tables, one for Class and one for Grade.
Then you need a junction table for the Student X Class X Grade to store that info.

Add patients
Discharge Patients
Add consultant to a patient
add the patients to a bay and bed.
Add a daily list of the nurses who are in charge of the bays
Also the i need to have a up to date whiteboard which shows the patients in the different bay and beds.
