Calculating the difference between two DATES in Excel

Calculating the difference between two TIMES in Excel

I also gave the Excel Tips and Access Tips sections a much-needed face lift.

Adding and Subtracting Dates and Times Comment from Sankalp G @ 9/5/2013
I need to subtract time and date in differnt cells, for example
A1= Date
B1= Time
A2=Date
B2=Time
Now, i require to time duration between A1 B1 and A2 B2.

Reply from Richard Rost:

Just add A1 and B1 to get the date/time. Then subtract the two resulting cells to get the difference.
