Weird Command Button Size in Access
By Richard Rost
A few users have posted having this problem over the past few months, so I did a little research. The problem stems from command buttons not sizing properly in Access 2013. You place a command button and try to resize it, but the outline of the button and the button's shape don't match, and are hard to manipulate.
This problem is caused by a setting in your WINDOWS Control Panel. If your zoom property is not set to the default 100% then this issue occurs. Yes, it's a bug in Access, but until Microsoft fixes it, here's the solution:
Go to your WINDOWS Control Panel > Display > Change the size of all items.
Make sure that this is set to SMALLER (100%) which is the default setting. If it's set to either of the larger settings, this problem occurs.
