Well, it's taking a little longer than I hoped, but the recompile batch it almost done. We're down to Excel 104. They're going alphabetically and "Excel 104" has a course code of XL104. So all it has to finish are the rest of the Excel courses and we're good to go.
This just goes to show that I need a newer, faster computer. My machine is a couple years old... actually a little more than a couple. I probably built it initially back in 2001 or 2002, and I've put minor upgrades in it since then (bigger hard drive, more memory), but the motherboard and processor are probably circa 2001.
It's a BUSINESS machine. I work on it. I record videos, check email, update my web sites. 99% of the time, it's perfectly fast enough for what I do. Generally, that's how computers are. An older machine is probably good enough for 90% of the tasks you're going to do. You don't need the fastest computer for browsing the web or reading email. Now, if you're playing games or processing super-large images, then yes, you want more processing power.
And, apparently, if you're converting video files from one format to another. :)
