OK, I've got enough material for one, maybe two more EXPERT Excel classes, then I'm going to put Excel away for a while and move on to Access 2010. Yes, I'm behind schedule.
Anyhow, YOU can help me decide which topics to still cover in the Expert series, and which to save for Advanced and Developer. Here's what I've got left in my outline...
EXPERT:
Advanced Sorting & Filtering
Customizing the Ribbon
Creating and Modifying Styles & Themes
Grouping & Outlining
Data Validation
Multi-Sheet Ranges
Advanced Find & Replace
Creating Templates
Auditing
Correcting Circular References
Custom Number Formats
ADVANCED:
Array Formulas
Linking and Consolidating Worksheets
Using Excel on a Network
Track Changes
Working with External Database Files
What-If Analysis
Scenarios
Goal Seeking
Solver
Data Analysis Toolpak
Digital Signatures & Permissions
DEVELOPER:
Macros & VBA
Custom Worksheet Functions
Creating UserForms
UserForm Controls
Event Procedures
Creating Custom Excel Add-Ins
The question is what do I cover now for the next Expert class (or two) and what do I move to the Advanced series and wait on for a bit.
While I do love Excel and I'm eager to complete the WHOLE series, I really need to move on to Access. LOTS of people are coming to the site looking for Access 2010 lessons and I have NOTHING to offer right now. Access is, of course, my most popular topic.
Let me know what you think.
