More recent questions from customers:

Can I make this screen larger? I can't see some of the screen shots.

If you're using the Amicron Video Player, just click on the EXTERNAL check box. That will cause the videos to load up in Windows Media Player and you can resize them any which way you'd like. I'm currently working on allowing my Video Player to be able to resize the videos just by dragging (it's not as easy as you'd think).

Do you have similar lessons for Microsoft Office 2003 and/or 2007? I like what I see thus far but I am currently working with several versions ahead.

If you're using Office 2003, you shouldn't have any problems following my videos. I use Office XP (2002) in my lessons, and the differences between XP and 2003 are minor. 99% of the features and menus are exactly the same. Now, if you're using Office 2007, yes, there are significant differences there, and I'll be updating all of my videos for 2007 very soon. As a side note, if you ordered (or do order) any of my courses after November 5th of this year, you'll get a FREE upgrade to the 2007 version when it's released.

Hi! Richard My wife finally let me get a new laptop and as you probably know it comes with Windows Vista already installed. The problem is that I can't install the 599cd lessons from the disk I had bought. I can't uninstall vista and install my Win XP because XP dosen't have the drivers for the laptop. Do you have any drivers for your disk so that I can install it on Vista?

If you have an OLD CD from me from way back when, chances are the videos on it will NOT play with Windows Vista. Microsoft changed some of the encoding properties in the new Windows Media Player, and my videos won't have any audio. You have three options. First, you can download and install a CODEC program to add audio support for my videos and they will play fine. See THIS BLOG ENTRY for details.

Second, I can ship you a new CD with all of your courses on it. I only charge a shipping & handling fee of $4.95, and I'll send you out all of your courses on a new CD. Your third option is to simply download all of your courses from our web site. You can log on to your account history page and get download links for all of your courses there. If you have high-speed Internet access, this is usually the best option.

Richard, I have enjoyed several of your courses, thanks much. There is an area of computers that has not been approched(to my knowledge). I am getting to a "shakey" age and I try to avoid filling out forms, such as bank deposit slips. I use Excell for this, I list my business checks on the reverse but I then have to write freehand on the front side and my handwriting isterrible. I think I read somewhere that there is a program for scanning a form then taking that file and filling in on the computer. I would welcome such a program. Then we really could get rid of the typewriter. Your comments appreciated. Bill

Bill, the software you're looking for is called OmniPage 16. You can use it to scan a form, and then the program will create an on-screen form out of it for you that you can then type in and print out. It's quite useful. I haven't played with this newest version, but I did use it a few versions ago for a client of mine and it worked well.
