For my Microsoft Access students... I'm ready to record another Microsoft Access class.

I've been getting a lot of feedback from different directions - some people want me to make some Access 2007 courses; others want more advanced Access 2003 material.

So... I need your feedback to decide.

Most of the people who have emailed me about new topics have indicated that they want to learn how to programmatically control their data - the big requests seems to be INVENTORY control (stock levels).

In order to be able to control data with VB code (when a product goes out or new ones come in, for example) the best way to do it is with something called a Recordset. You can then use VB code to edit, add, or delete records.

Of course, Recordsets aren't just for people who are tracking products. You can use them for all kinds of things: student attendence, adding loan payments to a table, a user log for your database, comparing data from two tables, the list goes on.

So... let me know what your thoughts are. Would you like to see me make this new class, or would you rather I spent time working on the new "Upgrading to Access 2007" tutorial?

P.S. Yes, I know... I still owe some of you handbooks. I just finished the Access 305 handbook. 306 should be online today or tomorrow, and the rest very soon after. I'm back to writing them MYSELF, and I can only spend an hour or two a day writing them or else I start to go bug-eyed. :)
