Access Version Confusion By Richard Rost

I just received this email expressing some confusion on the versions of my lessons. I decided to post it here in case anyone else has the same problem: Hi Richard, I'm wanting to purchase your Access courses and I understand there are more courses designed under the Access 2003 modules. I suppose I am a little confused as to which current Access 2010 courses are equivalent to the Access 2003 courses. For example, 2003 access has 100s, 200s, etc. and the 100 series which my understanding is Beginner level goes from 101-104. The Access 2010 beginner courses go from 1-9 so that is where my confusion lies. I just don't want to purchase duplicate courses. Thank you for your assistance in advance. -Natalie Natalie, sorry for the confusion. The Access 2003 Beginner lessons are 101-104. There were only 4 of them as opposed to the NINE Beginner lessons for Access 2010 because when I re-recorded the upgraded versions I spent a lot more time on some of the topics that I kind of rushed through in 2003. That's why there are so many more lessons. The 200-series in 2003 represented the "Expert" lessons that I'm currently in the process of re-recording for 2010/2013 which, again, are being expanded upon in some ways. There will again be more Expert lessons than there were 2003 lessons. If you have Access 2007, 2010, or 2013, start with my Beginner 2010 lessons, then move into the Expert 2010/2013 lessons (2010 and 2013 are almost identical which is why I just jumped from one to the other without re-recording all the Beginner stuff). By the time you finish all of those, email me again and I'll let you know where to go for the advanced lessons. At the end of each one of the current Expert lessons, I tell you where to switch over if you need to (like right now, I just finished Access Expert 8. If you finish that before Expert 9 is available, then you want to go to the old Access 221 lesson). In any case, for each of the 2003 lessons you purchase, you'll get a FREE upgrade to the 2013 lesson when it's released. I'm trying to make the free upgrades as close to the originals as possible... so if you buy Access 301, for example, you'll get the first Access Advanced lesson that's released later this summer. Make more sense now?
