Help to set up a database Upload Images   Link   Email
Sonya Hough
I have spreadsheet with information about projects my organization is working on.  Below are the columns/fields I have for each project.  I need create a database that would allow me to run various reports. It would have approx 20 users.  Each user would have access to only certain information based on their role (only CFO can access contract specific info) . My budget is limited (I am paying from my pocket) because I am pitching this project to the company's owner and senior leadership. Once I show it to them I am sure they will give me a budget to finalize the design and have some expert support for upgrades and support.

I am not sure how many tables are needed.  I am thinking I would need a table for many of the items listed below.  I have user experience with Access and I have worked with a programmer in the past to design a similar database.

Please give me your rate and the turnaround time to set up this up.  I think I can handle doing an import of the data on my own.
1. Status (Active, closed, pending)
2. Est Type (bid, budget)
3. Bonus (yes, no)
4. Bonded (yes, no)
5. Bid date
6. JobEnd date
7. Job start date
8. Job number (unique to each job)
