Well, the GoDaddy rep got back to me. I don't think he understood my question because he pointed me to this page and said I needed "shared legacy hosting for MS Access." That's not at all what I asked for. So I replied back that I wanted SHAREPOINT SERVICES hosting. We'll see if someone who knows what they're talking about gets back to me. That's the problem with tech support today... they're usually very cordial, but LEVEL ONE support is usually pretty inexperienced.
I used to work in tech support for another company, and the first line of defense is usually a minimum wage guy with a list of FAQs in front of him. Whenever I actually CALL someplace for support, the first thing I usually say is, "can you please escalate me to a Level 2 Tech? I'm a computer nerd and I probably know more about your product than you do." Of course, I try to be real polite and not sound like a jerk... as that sounded while I wrote it. :)
