Microsoft Access Developer Network

Welcome to the Access Developer Network. If you are looking for someone to help you with your Microsoft Access database issues, troubleshoot problems, or even build a database for you, then you have come to the right place. For complete information on the Access Developer Network, please click here for details and instructions for posting.

Want to see Testimonials from other clients that have found Access help here in the Developer Network? Click here.

Developer Students: if you're interested in picking up some consulting work, subscribe to this forum and receive an email update whenever new posts are added. You will also be notified by email if any conversations you are involved in receive new comments.

Please note, that I do allow any of my students to respond to requests posted here. It's an open forum. However, unless you see the Access Veteran badge next to their name (shown at right), then I do not personally recommend them. My Access Veterans are long-time students of mine who I know have completed most, if not all, of my Developer lessons and really know what they're doing when it comes to Microsoft Access.

As a disclaimer, I take NO responsibility for any work provided by ANY person you may meet through this Forum. This is simply a meeting place I have arranged to put people who NEED help together with people who want to PROVIDE help. I, Richard Rost, assume NO liability for any services provided. Use at your own risk. Same goes for both users and providers. You are both responsible for your own interactions, work to be done, and any payments promised.

I have been trying for the last 4 days to sort this problem out here is the code that I have

Private Sub Command80_Click()
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
    DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE TimesheetT SET IsInvoiced=TRUE WHERE CustomerID=" & CustomerCombo
    DoCmd.SetWarnings True
    Me.Requery
End Sub

Private Sub Duration_Click()

End Sub

Private Sub EndTime_AfterUpdate()

    If EndTime < 1 Then EndTime = Date + EndTime

End Sub

Private Sub MinutesWorked_Click()

End Sub

Private Sub StartTime_AfterUpdate()

    If StartTime < 1 Then StartTime = Date + StartTime

End Sub

If thats all the code you have you are missing stuff. Watch the extended cut again, mainly from 22minutes onward and see if that helps

Hello again

Wondering if you would be willing to have a look at my database I would send youa cut down version without the sensitive personal information with just some dummy data to see if you can figure out where I have gone wrong I may be showing up as a developer student but I'm still working on the expert level please let me know and I will send you a link to a copy of cut down version without my instore information via OneDrive

Michelle thank you for any help you may be able to give

I've moved this post to the Access Developer Network. If you want someone to work on your database for you, post it here, not in the general Access Forum. See Rule #5.

Hello Michelle, sorry, I don't have the free time right now to look at your database. If you're looking to pay a fee to get it done I can make some time but stuff like this is best learned with trial and error on your own. Rick shows all the code you need in the video, if you have that in exactly, it works.
