I am re-creating an existing database for our company and want to know the rate per hour to help finish it and approximately how many hours it may take. I have created the table and one of the queries I will be using with this database. I now need to create another query (at least) for the following:
1. Extract a number from a field (field contains both numbers and letters, i.e., 20 gal) and put it into a new column, then use that number in the new column to calculate the total gallon equivalents for an item.
2. Need to know if there is a way to auto-populate a field based on a main library (start typing a name and possibilities pop up to choose from or would it have to be a drop down menu...this list could possibly contain thousand of names) or would this main library have to be a separate database linked to the one I was working from
3. Create a simple form containing certain fields from my table for users to enter information into
