VBA Export Access Qry to ExcelUpload ImagesLink Michael Munitz 6 months ago
Hello,
I wrote a simple function which exports the contents of a query to Excel, does a bit of formatting, and saves the workbook to a folder on my hard drive (while leaving the workbook open).
There are three simple things I would like to tweak/add but I am stuck. Viewed dozens of Google examples.
1. I either have the export path in the wrong location in the function or it just isn't quite written right, because when I open the file in the folder it does not display the formatting I see in the open workbook on the screen.
2. Formatting - Add filters to the column headings.
3. Formatting - Set focus to top left cell when the function opens the workbook.
Thank you - Mike M

Without seeing what you have done (code wise) it's impossible to advise you how to fix it.
Please post some screenshots and / or code to detail what you are trying to accomplish. Of course censor any sensitive data or use dummy data to protect privacy.

Hi Scott,
This was my first TechHelp post, and after reading the posting rules I was leery of adding too much information here, hence the cod exclusion. I am working with Adam Schwanz now, so thanks again!
