No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Important Info Before You Send

I make my email address publically available, and feel free to use it, but I want you to be aware of a few things:

  • You will generally get a faster response if you use the Customer Service form.
  • I no longer provide Technical Support services.
  • If you have technical questions, you can submit them via the Forums. I have a fantastic group of moderators that help manage my Forums. You'll likely get a faster response from them than you will from me directly.
  • If you're not yet a student of mine, use the Visitor Forum to post your question.
  • Under no circumstances will I open your attachments including database files.
  • Screen shots (images) are OK. Everything else will be discarded.
  • If you want someone to fix or work on your database visit my Access Developer Network.

OK, so that's pretty much everything. Here's my Email address:

Enjoy!

P.S. I sometimes get hundreds of pieces of regular email a day, and I have a fairly aggressive set of spam filters. I wouldn't want your email to get lost somewhere in my inbox or spam folder. So, again, I suggest you use the Customer Service form.

P.P.S. One more time for the people in the back row: do not email me technical support questions. I'm only going to direct you to post in the Forums. If you need help with your database, post in the Forums. I get way too many people asking for help. I can't help you all in email. That's what the Forums are for. Also, don't post in the Forums and then email me back a day later and say no one is answering you. Be patient. It can sometimes take a few days.

Tips Before Contacting

I generally get back to people with customer service issues by the following business day. It's just me here answering emails, so I do my best. Here's a tip: if you want a FAST response, type a SHORT email. Honestly, if I get your email and it's fifteen paragraphs that I have to read through, I'll usually "snooze" it until I have the time to read it. Want a faster response? Keep it brief. Sorry. I get a LOT of messages every day, and it's just me answering them. Only so many hours in the day...
