Computer Learning Zone CLZ Access Excel Word Windows

The lifetime of a human being is measured by decades, the lifetime of the Sun is a hundred million times longer. Compared to a star, we are like mayflies, fleeting ephemeral creatures who live out their lives in the course of a single day.

This is what I pasted from Notepad into the Row Source of my ApptListF.
When I get moff the Row Source I get an error saying  Characters found after SQL statement.  Could you look at this and let me know if it is incorrect
SELECT CalendarID, DateTime, Description FROM CalendatT Where closed =showcloseditems ORDER BY DateTime;

First BIG red flag is DateTime is a reserved key word.  It would be best if you rename your field.

You say that Access is indicating characters after the SQL could mean that you have copied a non-printable character that you can't detect is there.

You named your Date/Time field in the Calendar Seminar DateTime and said This is fine.

Tim -
Not me but Richard named it that way.  It might be OK 99% of the time until it isn't.
I personally would either get in the habit of enclosing that in brackets " [ DateTime] " or rename it.

Also I just looked at the SQL with fresh eyes this morning and saw that you have FROM CalendatT
Check spelling.  I believe that should be CalendarT

I get in the habit of using EntryDate if i'm recording the time of when a record is made. Would Also have ApptDate etc for a calendar. Key point is DateTime is very generic so, not only will it work better in access to change it but also make more sense when you return to it later on
