Turn Off Filter & Stay On Current Record

In today's video, I'm going to show you how to turn off a form filter, but remain on the current record. This is handy if you want to be able to browse through all of the records, but not lose your place when you turn off the filter.

I have search field on my form , and as shown below I have searched for 2nd, which returns 13 records of the 51 total, Ewing Revolutionary War Vets who were assign to a 2nd Regiment.

The return is not a filter so I modified your neat "turn off" and now it works to turn off search and stay on a selected record. Read More...

Samuel is the 4th searched returned record of the 13 , vetID 10, and after "Refresh" he is 10th = vetid of the total population of 51.  The code is working! but it seems clunky
