Richard - David is correct but just didn't give enough information.
Extended Cut - Silver at 54:49 you added Hours To Be Billed to the CustomerListF
The DLookup for SumOfBillableHours but then formatted it as Currency.
The Format should be blank or 0.00
At that point you haven't calculated the value of the billable hours - there isn't any rate involved.

I just noticed that in the Gold extended cut you evidently caught the formatting and it is changed.
David - Richard just didn't record the correction.

Sorry I was not clear in my opening comment. Yes, I was referring to the format of the SumOfBillableHours in the Extended Cut. BTW, thank you Richard for an OUTSTANDING teaching site. I've been using Access for over 20 years and I still learn something from your videos every time I watch one.
Scott: I was trying to make it a teaching moment. Don't... sniff sniff... scold me... :(
Ha ha.
David: Yeah, HOURS should be formatted as Fixed or 0.00. CURRENCY should be formatted as... Currency. :) I think there was a moment in the video where I was like "oops" and had to fix it, but you get the point. We take our billable hours and multiply them by the hourly rate and then THAT result is the total amount billed, and that's Currency as well.
Glad you enjoy the site! Thanks for the compliments.

Richard - i knew you were just seeing if we were paying attention. Besides, you didn't call on David or myself when we had our hands raised. LOL
