Losing one's voice from singing wouldn't take 6+ days to recover so I hope you didn't come down with anything. And if you did, wish you speedy recovery.
I make a habit of washing hands constantly. I visit my parents every week and every time I touch anything in their home (door knobs, utensils, etc.) I wash my hands. Every time I came back from outside, I make a bee line to the bathroom and wash my hands and face before I go into the living room. This is for their sake and mine. My sister visited us and within a week she caught covid and passed it on to my parents and their caregiver. But I've never caught it. To this day, I have yet to catch covid even once, even though practically all my friends and relatives have.
Thanks, Kevin. Yeah, I had no voice at all for a couple of days, and then just really hoarse for a few days more. I think I probably had a little something too. I just didn't feel right all week. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid, so I don't think it was that. Feeling myself again now. :)

You can still get covid even with full vaccination, albeit with less severe symptoms. But it's best to not get it at all, because it would still make life inconvenient, at best. Again, hope you feel better. My 90-year-old mom and dad both got through covid with mild symptoms only. That showed the vaccine was quite effective. Both my parents were considered high-risk with tons of health issues.
