If you're interested in getting your weekly Microsoft Access fix, be sure to head on over to Mike Wolfe's site, NoLongerSet.com. He posts a lot of great content. I'm a subscriber, myself. He's even taught me a few things over the past couple years.

Read it Here...

No Longer Set

If you subscribe to Mike's site, you'll get an email every week with his Week in Review. He includes all kind of insider info that I don't usually stay in the loop with (news from the Access dev team, etc.)

I'm busy working on my own tutorials, but Mike keeps his finger on the pulse of what's happening with Access. He also shares a lot of great content from other tutorial creators. Pretty cool stuff. Check it out.

Full disclosure: Mike didn't ask me to make this video. I'm not receiving anything from it. I just love his work and think he deserves some recognition. So head over to his site, follow him on Twitter, and subscribe to his YouTube channel.

Transcript Hey folks, this is Richard Rost with AccessLearningZone.com. If I come across something that I really, really like, I like to share it with all of you. Today, I'd like to share NoLongerSet.com, which is run by Mike Wolfe. If you're interested in getting your weekly Microsoft Access fix, be sure to head over to Mike's site. He posts a lot of great content. I'm a subscriber myself and he's taught me a few things over the past year or two.

You can subscribe to his Week in Review, and you'll get an email every week with all the stuff he's talked about throughout the week. He includes all kinds of cool insider info that I usually don't stay in the loop with, like news from the Access development team and things like that.

I'm busy working on tutorials, but Mike keeps his finger on the pulse of what's happening in the Access world. He also shares a lot of great content from other tutorial creators - people who write articles, make videos, and pretty cool stuff. Check it out.

Here's his website. Make sure you subscribe up here. He's very big with Twin Basic. Twin Basic is a new replacement for VB6. Those of you who used to like to program in VB6 back in the day should check this out. These guys are making a new version of it. I'm going to be doing some videos on Twin Basic myself soon.

If you scroll down here, there's This Week in Review and you'll see all of his other stuff. He does all kinds of crazy cool things, like this one here on creating GUIDs in VBA. He talks about random business topics, like the different types of businesses, but a lot of it - most of it - is Microsoft Access stuff.

Make sure you head over to NoLongerSet.com and sign up for his newsletter. Full disclosure, he didn't ask me to make this video. I'm not receiving anything from it. I just love Mike's work and I think he deserves some recognition.

Head over to his site. Go over to his YouTube channel too. I'll put links down below. Let's get him some subscribers and some likes on his videos.

If you have any questions or comments, post them down below. We'll see you next time.

Summary Today's TechHelp tutorial from Access Learning Zone is about a resource I truly enjoy and want to recommend to you. I'm always excited to share something valuable when I find it, and today I'd like to introduce you to NoLongerSet.com, a website run by Mike Wolfe. If you are looking for quality weekly Microsoft Access content, I encourage you to visit his site. Mike creates an impressive range of material, and even as someone who teaches Access for a living, I have learned quite a bit from him over the last couple of years.

One feature I appreciate is his Week in Review, which you can subscribe to in order to receive a weekly email summarizing everything he's covered. Mike shares insider information like updates from the Access development team and other topics that I sometimes miss because I am focused on making tutorials. He also curates noteworthy articles and videos from other creators in the Access community, so you get a broad overview of what's happening.

Mike has been especially involved with Twin Basic, which is an emerging replacement for VB6. If you enjoyed programming in VB6 in the past, you should check this project out, especially since these developers are creating a modern interpretation of the language. I am planning to make some Twin Basic videos as well, so watch for those in the future.

As you browse his website, you'll find the Week in Review section and plenty of other useful content. For example, Mike has articles about generating GUIDs in VBA, commentary on different business models, and plenty of detailed discussions about Access.

I recommend visiting NoLongerSet.com to sign up for his newsletter. I want to clarify that this is just a personal endorsement—I have not been asked or paid to make this recommendation. I simply believe Mike's work deserves your attention.

Also consider visiting his YouTube channel, and be sure to subscribe and like his videos to support his work. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below.

You can find a complete video tutorial with step-by-step instructions on everything discussed here on my website at the link below. Live long and prosper, my friends.
