Install Visual Studio

Download

Download the version you wish to use: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/

Install

1. From your Downloads folder, double-click the bootstrapper named VisualStudioSetup.exe or named something like vs_community.exe to start the installation.

Workloads

Choose which Feature Sets or Workloads you want to develop with:

Individual Components (optional)

Instead of Workloads you can be very specific as to which components you want to install, choose each option you need from the list.

Language Packs (optional)

By default the language on your system should be chosen, you can amend this if necessary.

Installation Locations (optional)

Change from the default location.
