No XLOOKUP Prepaid Excel 11 Link
Normand Caron
I have Excel 2013 and no XLOOKUP. I prepaid Excel Expert 11. How can I use it?
Richard Rost
Hi Normand. You're not the first person to contact me about this. I expect there are a lot of people out there who are sticking with Excel 2016, 2013 (it was a good version) or even older. Heck, I used 2003 for the longest time, well past the time 2007 was released. If I didn't have to upgrade to TEACH people Excel, I probably wouldn't have. In any case, I don't expect you to spend money on a course you can't use. If you're not planning on upgrading to Excel 2019 or getting a Microsoft 365 subscription then you can't use XLOOKUP. So, I'll be happy to give you a free copy of the next class in the series when it's released. This will either be Expert 12 or Developer 1. Just let me know when you get the release notice and I'll add it to your account.
Normand Caron
Fair enough, I'll try to upgrade to office 365 from office 2013.
Thanks for the info.
Richard Rost
My pleasure.
Normand Caron
It's done. I now am a member of Microsoft 365 and should be able to use xlookup up shortly.
Richard Rost
Congrats! :)
Are you gonna cover (formula auditing) on the next Excel course?
Richard Rost
I covered it back in my older Excel 231 class. I haven't covered it in the new lessons yet, so yeah... probably good one to put on the list. Thanks!
