Running Balance does not work Upload Images Link

Ive run a series of Append Queries to Make a table of accounts on one currency type. There are a number of accounts combined into that Table NZAllT. Ive sorted the table by date then Account Name. Made a query on that table NZAllQ to generate a Running Balance. That seems to work OK. I want to use that query NZAllQ to produce a report NZAllR to print year and month grouping and a running Total for combined Accounts with Totals for [Amount] a an a running Balance. The running Balance does not work.

Thanks Alex but I'm still working at Expert 24 level. There must be something very unique to this issue as Queries generating a running balance have worked before but now not? Can you give me a little idea of what I need to do special here?

Did you run through the Check Register TechHelp yet? That explains a lot of what is covered in the Expert 29.

BTW since you are a Gold member you can download Richards db an take a look at what is different between your db and his as a trouble shooting tool.
