Dashboards in Excel
By Richard Rost   Richard Rost on Facebook Richard Rost on Twitter Richard Rost on LinkedIn Email Richard Rost   9 years ago

I've been getting a lot of requests from students lately for a seminar on putting together effective dashboards for Microsoft Excel.

Dashboards can be very simple (such as a few charts to show a summary of information elsewhere in your workbook) or they can be very advanced (with drop-down lists, control options, etc.) I've only really scratched the surface of how to do some of these things in my current Excel classes.

If you're interested in a seminar on how to build effective dashboards for Excel, you can sign up now on the Waiting List.

Dashboards with power pivots and slicers are in great demand. Chandoo.org is charging a bomb for the same.

Would love to get away from the traditional way of looking at charts.  Not only are they boring, but out-dated.  Dashboards are the way to go

Yes please. The data-output (data visualization) is as important as the data input.
