Values Across Forms Expert 204

Good afternoon!

I am experiencing a quite frustrating issue with the command button opening my contact form from the customer form command button. The same issue with what you showed in this video (TimeStamp 5:17), if that customer doesnt have a contact, (New) shows up in the contact ID, but the customer ID slot is blank. I opened the contact Form's ContactID Combo box properties, went to data tab, default values and entered exactly how you typed in before (=FORMS!CustomerF!CustomerID). This worked on my appointmentF box but it is not working in my Contact form. I deleted and recreated the combo box in my contactF several times testing pulling the data from different forms/queries and that didnt help. I recreated the command button multiple times making sure its pullin from the correct locations. No Joy.

Here is a picture of the same customer ID field in my AppointmentF that DOES work properly pulling up the current customer ID from the customerF.

I even tried to simplify the control source by selecting the customerF, then trying CompanyNullFullNameQ where I have the full name sorted.

Have you tried:

Forms!ContactF!ComboBoxName = CustomerID

Also, what in the of the Contact Form Combo Box Columns?

Thanks James! Just tried your suggestion but it came back with the same results. For the collumns in the combo box, I used the field [CompanyNullFullName] in the CompanyNullFullNameQ. quick if then field if the company name is null then it inserts the full name. I tried to reference a full name in a past attempt as well as referencing the CustomerT directly. Same NEG RES each time.
