Query Value to Form
Kim Boren

I have a data base that is being used everyday. I only visit this data base once a week. I take a copy of the data base home and work on it during the week. Last week I built a query at home and copied it to the data base the next time I was in front of the data base. The query when run in the original data base works. I wanted to add a value from the query to an existing form. I have not been able to use one value from the query and have it displayed on the form. I would appreciate some direction.

If you are just wanting to retrieve a single field for the form, you might check out the DLookup TechHelp.

Matt, thank you. I did watch the DLookUp Richard has out. I followed everything but did not come up with the correct value. In fact the value for each text box is the same value, which is the first value in my query. Here is my query.

Sorry, I keep thinking of things that might help. The form is a Continuous form.

Take a look at your criteria.
Try something like this:
    =DLookup("DisplayTime2", "TimeClockQ", "PersonID=" & PersonID)

Kevin, thank you very much that works perfect.

Hi, I thought what Kevin provided worked perfect, however it does not. The value in TimeClockQ for DisplayTime2 is correct. For some reason I am getting different values now, but they do not show the DisplayTime2 for the record it is on. It does not match the record. I think I am lost.
