Regarding Private Sub Command5_Click() I wnat to use linked files such as word, pdf, etc since I did not wnat to increase the file size of my database. I tested the code: employeepicture.action = acOLECreateLink, but it still increse my database. How I can use other type documents without increasing my db? Thanks,

Using an OLE link still embeds the file PLUS a lot of information in the database. You want to store the file externally and just save the FILENAME in your database.
