Need Ideas for Generating a Custom One Time Email

Once my customer pays fro their software and downloads it.  It goes to a form which generates a keycodein  The user calls me for a return code.  They enter into the form.  Then some magic happens and the software is registered.  During the time the user is getting a return code.  I am collecting Name, email address, and phone number.  That form generates a username based on their first and last name.  Further it is generating a 16 digit character password automatically.  I would rather not use outlook

This is where the email would be generated automatically containing their username and password.  As it stands giving a 16 digit character password over the phone .  Can be a long drawn out process.

I am looking for suggestions for how to include this in the registration process.  Specifically looking for TechHelps that will point me in the right direction.  Seminars are out of the question. Sales are very slow for PassBase.   I do have Access Expert lessons 1 thru 30.

Well, you wouldn't necessarily have to do it over the phone. You could have them email it to you and just tell them to keep the database running. It's going to give them a key that they then email to you. You can then return the password to them, the counter key by email, and then they enter it in, but they got to keep the database running so it maintains the same key. Or you could save that key as a file or save it in the database. Then they'll get a response to that specific key, or you could build an API on your website to handle it. There's a million ways you can do it. It's all just a matter of how much effort you want to put into it.

I watched Expert 19,20, and TechHelp 26.  I decided to go with having the customer call me after paying.  They then install the software.  Fully automated installation.  It then generates a form called UserRegistration (see attached).  The customer presses
Get KeyCode.  The customer gives me the KeyCode.  I in turn generate a RegistrationCode.  Which is given to the customer to input in to their Registration Code Return.  Some magic happen by way of coding.  It then goes to the InitializeUser Form.

Richard,  When customers pay for their software.  What I found is they want it NOW!!!!  They get cranky.  So having them email me the code.  Currently, having them call.  I give them their UserName and Password.  speeds up the process.  Eventually I will use the logic in techHelp26 to automate the process of giving them their Username and Password.
This post is solved and closed
I appreciate your response.  Thank you Richard
