Help Needed to Declutter a Project
Jerry Fowler

I have several projects that I have written, tweaked, re-tweaked, and then re-wrote over the last several years. I now need to go through and declutter the project. I have Tables, Queries, and VBA coding that are no longer needed. I started cleaning one of the projects, which I need to hand off to someone else to run. I have no problem since I can stop, change code, or add information on the fly, but the person I'm handing off to doesn't. Can anyone point me to lessons, videos, or applications that could help with this?
I have received very valuable information in the past from all of you, and I hope that this time is not different.

Thanks

Alex, thank you for the quick reply. That is what I am doing currently, and I should have mentioned that I was hoping for something semi-automatic. I was thinking of using VBA to query objects that do not have any dependencies or that nothing else depends on it.

Hi Jerry, I cannot add much to Richard's video. He covered all the important issues.  I can only tell you that Instead of deleting the object, I rename it Like XXXMyFormF. That way - If I find later that I overlook something, I can easily rename it back. After I have thoroughly tested, I can delete, but I Usually don't hurry.  John

Thanks, both John and Alex. This definitely gives some new things to try.
