I watched Richard's videos about splitting the database 3 times and moved my dB before splitting it.  I created a "READ THIS" file in the folder where the dB used to be.  The Notepad file was my explanation to the users that they need to put a copy on their computer.  The Notepad text for my users may help you.  The text follows:
In an attemt to get rid of the annoying "exclusive access" error messages, TTIMS has been moved so I could split TTIMS away from its usual location.

TTIMS has been split into two segments -- Back End (Tables) vs. Front End (Everything Else).

If I had left the Front End in the place that you are used to finding TTIMS, you would not know that the file with the same name as the real TTIMS is only a partial file that you need to copy anywhere you want.  I suggested copying the file your Desktop.

The file in the folder below looks like TTIMS but the tables are linked to the Back End of TTIMS.  The table icons are a bit different in the Front End and show tiny arrows pointing to a table icon.

Copy the file in the folder labeled:
T:\"Copy the file in here to your Desktop weekly" to your Desktop and open that file from now on.

The linked file may take a little longer to open, but once the file is open you will no longer have to rely on the speed of the network to send you a form or report because they will be stored on your desktop.

If you happen to create your own query or make permanent changes to a query, that query has to get into my working version of the front end for the next update to the Front End of TTIMS.

At the moment, I think the easiest way to share a query with me is to right-click on your query's tab while in either Datasheet View or Design View and select SQL View.  Copy and email me the SQL text with the name or a screen capture of the query's name.
