Database Backup

I have a split database.  The back end is on one of the drives on our server.  It would be nice to have a backup button that copies the backend and saves it on two of the other drives.  I would also want it to delete copies that are older, say 2 weeks.
Even better, how about something when the users logon. Vba for login, the first person to logon in the morning and first to logon in the afternoon.  (So if the first logon is 11am, VBA searches a file location on the other drives for a backup saved that morning.  If it doesnt find one, it makes a copy of the backend and saves it MorningBackup6June.  The same process would be used for an afternoon backup.
And it would be nice to have vba clean up (delete) backups that are over 2 weeks old.
------
Also, because I'm constantly adding features to my database: I have a working copy of my front end on my desktop.  When I finish coding and testing I go into the options, current database, and remove the checks for display navigation pane, allow full menus, and allow default shortcut menus and close my working copy.  Then I go to the location of the published front end copy, rename it with the current date, and paste my working copy in its place.  Finally I reopen my working copy and recheck what I unchecked.  I would love to automate this process.

The backup stuff - I've already got that built. Just need to turn it into a lesson and record it. Not the morning/afternoon stuff, but a nightly event that copies to a folder, and performs maintenance like you said. I keep the backup from the FIRST of each month, and then the last 3 days. So if it's March 15th, you'll have backups from March 14, 13, 12, 1, Feb 1, Jan 1, Dec 1, etc. --- the other stuff about the front-end, that will be a bit later, but I am prepping something on auto-updating user front-ends.
