Starfleet captains are like children. They want everything right now and they want it their way. But the secret is to give them only what they need, not what they want.
That shouldn't be a problem. Once you have them set up as linked tables in Access, they should work fine joined together in a query. You lose referential integrity, meaning Access can't cascade update or delete, but you lose that with ANY linked tables.
