Text Font Manipulation

I know we can control boldness and color of font.  Is there a way to add a stroke around the text using vbacode?

Are you wanting something similar to Adding Stroke to Web Text
Have you tried adding custom css to the value in the table after changing it to Rich Text

One option would be hosting a Web Browser control with that info in it.
Another is just using images instead, if the text isnt dynamic or likely to change often.

I'm not familiar with custom css?  The reason why i want to is the field has a transparent background over an image.  Sometimes the text goes over a part of the image and makes it difficult to read the text (If you saw that Austin Powers movie you'd know what i was talking about).  By adding the stroke, I can have the user read the text clearly.  How would you use a custom CSS with an MSAccess form?

Have you seen the Tip: For Next Loops?

I'm not sure if you include custom css in a RichText field it works, I'd need to test it out.
Same with creating a custom HTML page locally and displaying it in a web browser control. Not sure if that control supports the newer HTML styling.

Another option is to create two labels, make one a little big, maybe bold and layer them with a little bit of as offset to simulate a shadow, might help.

Pretty sure you can't add strikethru in Access. You can either find a strikethru FONT that you can install in Windows and use that in your forms/reports, or you can draw a line object over the field and turn it on/off with VBA. This would actually make a neat TechHelp video. Adding it to the VERY long list...

I just tested it to make sure. If you set the field to normal text in the table, but rich text in the form, you can see the HTML tags in the table, but the formatted text in the form. Neither S nor STRIKE work.

STOKE around the text? You mean like the textbox border?

Oh. Access can definitely NOT do that on its own.
