I'm not sure I understand the difference between "fit screen" and "full screen."

Your forms will only resize inside of the Access application window UNLESS you make them Popup. Maximize fills the entire window. Restore is a normal sized window.

Yes I want to force the overlapping forms to resize to the largest size inside MS Access. Because if I close the form and reopen it, it becomes small, so how can I force the form to become largest ever time?

You could try putting the docmd.maximize in the on current/ on got focus. You could also add Forms!FormName.Maximize to the on close event of your report

On current / on got focus doesn't seem to work for me with maximize. The on close event does though. Just put

Forms!FormName.Maximize in the on close event of the report, replacing FormName with the name of the form you want maximized.

If you use that report from other areas that the form wouldn't be open behind it, try something like this replacing field names again

If CurrentProject.AllForms("FormName").IsLoaded Then
  Forms!FormName.Maximize
Else
  'Do nothing
End If
