could you please give me some info on how to copy my files on an external hard drive to another external hard drive as my files need to be in two places at the same time. thank you

If your external hard drives are both USB or ESATA, then you should just be able to plug them both in to the same computer and then manually copy the files. The drives should each show up as a drive letter (like E: and F:). In that case, just copy and paste (or drag and drop) the files.

Now, if you want to AUTOMATICALLY copy files from drive to drive whenever they change, you'll need some kind of a RAID solution, or at least a program that will perform automatic nightly backups.

It all depends on your needs. If you need more info than this, let me know.
