Multiple Selection Display
Taruna Matharu

Hi Richard,

Please can you help me with this issue, I have a Project List that has multiple members and these members have different funding shares in individual the projects. A separated budget is assigned for each project,
In the ProjectListTBL, each row is assigned for single member.  In the project information form,
-how can I display multiple members for one project?

Taruna - How are you currently filling in the multiple members right now in the "Members:" field for the Project Information form above?
You should be able to display that same info in your continuous form the same way (first image) ProjectListTBL.

By the way in the second image subform you have Satatus.  I believe you meant Status.

Hi Scott, In ProjectListTBL Members Field is drop down list, for each project there can be several members. I want it to populate it in the form, like I have shown in the second image highlighted in yellow but I see first 3 records and same project # and separate members.

Status was misspelled :-(

Re spelling - Just human!  (I typed it wrong letting you know - LOL)

Just from what I'm seeing it appears to me that you have your tables set up and working properly.  That is a good thing.  You could, in theory, create a text box and then with some programming loop through the records to display it that way but honestly that would be a bit of coding to get it to work correctly.  Is this just for display or are you intending to use it some manner?

You might consider combining the two forms in the second image into one.  Have the detail at the top as you have it but then bring in the member detail as a subform rather than have the Member Funding button to open another form.  For an intro to subforms check out the Customer Contact Template video.
Subforms may be a bit ahead of where you are in the courses.  They are really started to be taught in the Expert Level 3 in detail.

Thanks Scott, I will watch the video the link that you have shared. Answer to your question it, it is for display in the form Project Id and participating members so the project manager can see their specific project details.
