Repeated fields in List Form
Emilio Baca

Hello Richard,
I have a continuous form where some of the fields are repeated and I would like to know if there is a way to group together the repeated fields so that they only show up once, and the fields which are not repeated which pertain to that record would still show up separately.  For example:
State Names
  FL   Abe
  FL   Bart
  FL   Charlie
  GA  Deleanor
  GA  Mar

Make it look like this:
State Names
  FL   Abe
        Bart
        Charlie
  GA  Deleanor
        Mary
Thank you in advance for any tips you can provide.

On a REPORT that's easy to do with a Grouping Level. On a FORM that would be more difficult. Possible, but difficult. Is this something you really need?

I would almost recommend Nested Continuous Forms

Hi Richard, thank you so much for the prompt reply, yes I really need it, the sample I gave with states and names was very generic, my actual database contains multiple fields related to projects I am working on, there are a couple of 1-to-many relationships involved and quite a few tables, the data in the continuous form has gotten very repetitive (brief snippet shown below) and I would like to be able to not show repeated values, i am not sure how to i can implement this with nested continuous forms, I am thinking this requires some VBA, would you be able to make a video on how to accomplish this? Thanks again.

I could, but again this just screams subform. For example, you should have UNIQUE values in your continuous form, and then a SUBFORM in the footer would have the details of the associated "scopes." Just simply hiding the data in the continuous form probably isn't going to help much.

MAIN CONTINUOUS FORM:
UNIVERSITY STREET65 University StEastern1957  <<< THIS RECORD SELECTED
REYNOLDS13 Livingston AveCentral1967
CALGARY STREET 145 Rt 180Central1985

SUBFORM:
Upgrade Lighting
Replace Controls
Flood mitigation

That's how I would do it.
