Access with 2 Monitors
John McKay

Hello, I'm new here to the forum and new to Access. I certainly could be missing it, when I try to self-serve by Google-ing, etc, I can't find where/how in Access Version 2112, that I can view 2 different tables/tabs,etc on each of my 2 monitors. Excel does it, and the option is easy to find/intuitive for us artiste-types. Engineer-types must have designed Access for multi-monitor use cuz it's not intuitive to me. (Or of course, they may have overlooked this important advantage provided in most 21st century programs):) Either that or artistes have trouble with what's "intuitive" :)

Hi John. Welcome. First off, as a RUSH fan, I love that you have the 2112 version of Access. Sweet! LOL

I have 4 monitors on my desk, so if you want to look at multiple objects on different monitors, you can either (a) stretch the Access application as a whole across those screens, or (b) use popup FORMS which you can drag anywhere, even outside of the Access application. Someone else actually asked me this a few days ago, so I've actually got a video about this coming out soon.

I cover modal and popup forms in Access Expert 4. Also, make sure you have Overlapping Windows turned on. And no, you can't make tables or queries popup.
