Alexis Hello!  This is my perspective as a previous student looking in from the outside.

There is much the same and much that has changed.

The basic difference is that Richard is using the most current version of Access as of the time of the recording.  I think you will find that his teaching style has changed a little bit too.  In my opinion, Richard has grown personally as a Teacher over the years since he last recorded the Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 series.

One of the big advantages that I see so far is the fact that he has recorded lessons now that he can point you to for more information if you want greater detail on a subject right now.  In the past, when the other classes didn't exist, he constantly said, "We will get to that in a future lesson."

Another BIG plus for me is that Richard has included in his lessons coverage of topics that were possibly missed, not covered in depth, or were unclear to people in the past.  He really listened - and still listens - to the feed

back of his students.  

Some courses you get a free upgrade to the latest version of the recording.  Some there is a small upgrade charge (usually greatly reduced since you are already a student).  I honestly forget what the rules are so will defer to Richard on that one.

To answer an unasked question - Do I need to have / watch this again since I already watched the old version?
Technically - no.  Is it beneficial?  My opinion is absolutely!  
I personally learn in steps and by repetition. (And from my errors. LOL)
I find that going back again reinforces what I knew and I pick up little bits of knowledge I missed the first time.

yeah, so far, i have purchase the beginner, expeter, advanced lessons all after Mr.Richard's suggestion, and these days i watched these lessons again and again, like you said, learn step by step, again and again, every time, i can find new things i missed.

i am ready to purchase the developer lessons in the next, but before that, i think i need to repeat these lessons i purchased, am i right? Mr. Richard. what is your better suggestions?

by the way, Mr. Richard. what is your plan for the task theme? i am still waiting for your ABCD 6 part, or some related seminer, your reply will be appreciated.

If you feel like you need to watch Beginner and Expert again, then definitely do it. Lots of people tell me they pick up new things the 2nd or even 3rd time they watch them. ABCD Part 6 is in development. Should be ready soon.
