I am having trouble putting videos together to create the type of invoice I need. I know I will need query's to make this, but running into the setup of them need for this type.

Each line is a customer with machine info. the main parts I am trying to get is Warranty, SMA, And Non Warranty added up with sales tax included. Then the shipping will be on a separate line with a date. The part # box could have more than one part in it or none at all.

I have CustomerT and CutomerF, MachineT, MachineF, SerialT, SerialF. PartinT, PartinF, PartOutT, PartOutF.  The labor can be one of the three with the coast of parts or not. There could also be some extra labor add.

Where are you running into problems, Steve? This seems like a pretty straight-forward invoice, much like I build in class.

What I need is to show all tax parts and labor in one of the spots of warranty or SMA or non-warranty. Would you set them up as a group? The top pick is my excel invoice. I would also need shipping in there as a separate line item.

In my WorkorderQ (showing in the last pick) I am thinking I need WarrantyLaborParts: IIf("warrantylabor">0,[WarrantyLabor]+[Qtyout]*[Partcost],0) but not working for me.

Ok I found one mistake now have WarrantyLaborParts: IIf([WarrantyLabor]>0,[WarrantyLabor]+([Qtyout]*[Partcost]),0) but if ther are no parts I get a blank spot. instead of just the labor price.

Also be careful with things like:

IIf("warrantylabor">0,

You've got a field in quotes when it should be bracketed. Little things make all the difference in Access (and programming in general).

Yes I did fix that when I noticed it. Thank you. The next thing I need to figure out is having my shipping charges on its own line on the invoice. This is not set to a work order, because it could be one or more workorders at one time. I do have workorders tied to a Storeid and a shippinglistT to the Storeid. So thinking I have to make a Query with the WorkOrderQ and the shippingT?

I also do Invoice once a month so could be up to 4 time they are charged for shipping

If you have multiple shipping charges per invoice, I would just make shipping a line item (product).
