Access Simultaneous Queries

Is there a way to run Acess queries
simultaneously, that is run a list of queries one query right after another? Without having to select a query from the Access screen, wait for it to complete and then select the
next query and wait for it to complete and so forth.

Sure if you have a form you could just put it in an on click event of a button

docmd.OpenQuery "Query1Q"
docmd.OpenQuery "Query2Q"

Can you fill us in on what you are trying to accomplish?

Hi Larry. You can't run them simultaneously, but like Scott pointed out you can run the consecutively. I assume you're trying to run action queries... a Make Table perhaps, then an Append query, an Update next, etc. Access isn't "multi-threaded" so it can't do more than one thing at exactly the same time, but I think that's what you're looking for.

Thank you both! I have a user that runs a large group of queries one at a time and it takes about 2 days to run through all the queries for reports.  Running the queries consecutively should work and I will put them into a form and use a Command Button to run the sets.  I run simultaneous queries in Oracle and was not sure if Access could run them also.  I didn't think it could but thought I would find out.

Thanks again!!
