Images Form a Grid of Buttons
Susan Grant

My objective is to supply a grid of images in a continuous form that users can click on to take them to view a larger version.
I am building a tool for my local botanical garden which lets them select from their 31K photos. They want to search for criteria and then view all results in a page of thumbnail images to pick the best. Images are stored as pathways to the jpg files on their network as recommended by Mr. Rost.
My fields are PhotoLocation, PhotoFolder, category and photoTag, the last two are one-to-many.

Can you upload some screenshots? Snip & Sketch

We need a lot more information, what do you have now and what is the problem you are running into?

Could you not just add a click event or a button that just opens up another form (popup??) showing just the image.

Wow, that was fast! . The original idea was to have a search page (I have the search seminar) which would have fields for PhotoFolder as well as category and photoTag. A button on the form would run the search and display a continuous form which looks like a grid of x by y number of records, rather than a continuous row of single records. I am betting that there's no way to do this and I will have to create the typical continuous form.  What do you think?

Forms are usually vertical but I'm sure @Rick would have fun giving a horizontal one a go :p

Yeah it would involve some trickery to make a "grid" instead of just a continuous form. I'll add it to my list of projects for when I'm bored and seeking a challenge. :)

Hmmm.....
