When I created the Service Table (ServiceT) in Lesson 6, by default Access set a Default Value of 0 for all the Number fields.
When I created the UnassignedServiceQ Query in Lesson 16, with "Is Null" as criteria for the ServicedBy field, the query was empty; as none of the "By" fields were null, they all contained a 0.
I then went back and removed the Default Value for the affected fields, and manually deleted the 0s in the sample records.

Yes that's normal behavior for a number field to default to 0. If you have a choice it's probably better to not try to work with Nulls. In this case, the better way to handle the service query would be to have the Is Null criteria OR =0 (so it was never added)
