When I try to use DoCmd.RunSQL with Views I get an error message (see screenshot).

This does not work.
DoCmd.RunSQL "DROP VIEW QueryName"

I also get the same error when trying to create or alter a View.
Working with tables works fine.

This is how I got around this problem.
CurrentProject.Connection.Execute "DROP VIEW QueryName"
