Resizing a Dashboard
Jerry Fowler

I have a form that has several forms (or sub forms) and one of them is like a dashboard widget. On two of my computers it looks fine and then two others it's oversized (as graphic attached shows).  I have tried several properties such as can grow can shrink, auto resize and so far nothing works

This will be because the different computers have different screen resolutions. Not sure if there is anything that can be done within access' At my workplace, I try to have all pcs displaying at 1920x1080 but the laptops and salesboard are slightly different. I'm interested to see if one of the mods can offer any advice on this.

If not, then you'll need to check the screen resolution on the computers and try to standardise them'

Thanks, I was thinking in that direction, but was hoping for a work around

Different screen resolutions has been an issue for YEARS.  Unfortunately Microsoft has not deemed it important enough to address.  Unfortunately I'm not aware of any good workaround - even third party - that fixes this.

You pretty much have to either do two sets of forms, do your forms for the predominant resolution, or do the forms for the lowest resolution and deal with it on the higher resolution monitors.
I really wish that Access would be worked on more but it kind of takes a back of the bus position when it comes to the Office suite.

Shame access couldn't read the screen res. You could probably use an IF statement to display the form in different sizes based on that.

This is a common issue with web development too
