VBA Editor Auto Refreshing Bug

Has anyone else been typing code and found that the VBA window (After 1 second) will remove spaces and red partial code lines?

Its just started happening today and unless i type really quick - i lose spaces and get vba errors and red text while i'm still typing. Its almost as if someone is pressing something on my keyboard!!!

Some points:
- Only started happening today on my months old project
- Happens on other Modules, even ones i havent edited in ages
- Only affects VBA in access - doesn't affect Notepad for example
- Compact & Repair, Compile and restarting PC didn't resolve it

I haven't changed any other settings that i'm aware of. A quick google says this was a bug in 2007/2010 but i'm assuming that would be fixed by now?

This pretty much sums it up

I haven't seen that issue so far.
You don't happen to have a timer running do you?  That will steal the focus.

I'm experiencing that in Access 365. I start typing and take my eyes off the screen and when I look back it's all messed up. Sometimes while I'm typing a space the space disappears and my cursor is typing out of order. Presently I'm revising existing code in forms and reports and it has been an issue with me for a couple of weeks '.

I do have timers but one for 10 seconds and one for a minute - both of which were implemented weeks ago. This keeps occurring every second of typing.

If you have ANY form with a timer event running in the background, it will mess up your VBA window. I've seen this happen a lot. Shut those forms and it should go away.

Cool, I'll try that out thank you. Could you have a 'sub page' on the troubleshooting page with a collection of issues and how to get around them? Would be handy to have a central place to put known issues and resolutions - be a great addition to the troubleshooting.

Just search the forums, otherwise that list is very long!
