Form with variable source data

Hi All,
I'm building a CRM database in access. All the records are stored on a single table and I use a few different queries to filter the records by various criteria. I had planned on creating one viewing form template and then copy/paste it for each query. but I'm sure there must be a way to create a variable record source, whereby clicking a button will open the record viewer from "fresh records" query or "uncontacted" query, etc. Could you advise a lesson or course that would cover this please?

James - Respectfully, there is a reason Access is called a Relational Database.  Trying to do and maintain everything in a single table is counter productive and not advisable.

Before trying to sort out a way to incorrectly do something I recommend learning the proper way.  I would have you start out with the Access Beginner 1 course.  It's free and once you learn things from the ground up you won't regret not doing it tight the first time.

There are also literally more that 200 videos in the TechHelp section, many of which you can watch for free.
Take a look at What is Microsoft Access?, Relationships, Normalizing Data, Query Criteria, and Customer Contact Template to get started.

To really get the most benefit from the TechHelp I recommend a TechHelp Memberships.

Hi Scott, thanks for your reply. I don't think i explained myself correctly. I'm not trying run the whole database from one table, I have several tables, but the main one is where the customer details are held. there are fixed fields like name, address, telephone number etc. But then I have linked fields that have combo boxes taking their information from several other tables.
there are multiple people that will be using the database and they will be "assigned" records. I've used what I have learned from the beginner courses and from the security seminar so that the users will only see their own records and can progress them accordingly. I've designed a form that will be the user interface, this form is a template and I was initially going to replicate this and change the record source so that the users can click a button to open that particular form. I just wondered if there was a smarter way without having to replicate the same form repeatedly. cheers

If you're just changing the record source on the form, you can just do that with the button that they are using to open the form, don't need to make a bunch of copies of the same form with different record sources.

DoCmd.OpenForm "FormName"
Forms!FormName.RecordSource = "Select * From Table Where Stuff"

Edit:
Might be Forms!FormName.Form.RecordSource not thinking straight today LOL.
