ListBox as a subform

Hello.  Here is a simplified scenario of what I would like to achieve.  Three tables:

Emp_T: w/ Emp_ID as PK & name (for employees)
Cert_T: w/ Cert_ID as PK & title (for certifications)
EmpXCert_JT: w/ ID as PK, Emp_ID and Cert_ID (junction table)

I've watched Rick's Custom List Box Columns videos (free & extended) and I prefer the look of a ListBox over a continuous form.  Thus, I would like to add a ListBox to the Employee's record form that displays the certification titles associated with that employee.

Looking for some guidance/direction to existing videos or forum topics to review and I am willing to do the Developer 37 course if it will help accomplish my goal.

Thanks!

Since you have not yet completed the Beginner series you are missing a lot of fundamental information. The first class Richard teaches List Boxes is Access Beginner 8.

Juan: I only wanted the listbox to display information, not allow the user to edit it.  In my databases, all table Inserts and Updates are done via other forms using parameterized querydefs.  Right now, the listbox shows the number of the certification from the junction table, when I want it to display the name of the cert.  I've got it working in a continuous subform, but I think a listbox is a cleaner look.

Kevin:  Yeah, I get what you're saying. Ugh.  That's going to be alot of videos to watch to get to B8...

Thanks guys

Build a Query so you have the ID from the Junction Table and the name from your main Table together. Base your List Box off this Query.
