DoCmdBrowseTo

Saw this today so I looked it up and it gave this as an example

DoCmd.BrowseTo ObjectType:=acBrowseToForm, _
ObjectName:="EventDS", _
PathToSubformControl:="Main.NavigationSubform", _
WhereCondition:="", _
Page:="", _
DataMode:=acFormEdit

Was this covered in any lesson?  I like to review I do not recall and the sample that was provided is not clear to me.
Any pro/cons on this?

This can be simplified (I never use that syntax).
Using the parameters in your example:
DoCmd.BrowseTo acBrowseToForm, "EventDS", "Main.NavigationSubform", , , acFormEdit

Richard probably won't teach this, because DoCmd.BrowseTo is most often used in navigation forms, and Richard has navigation forms on his Evil Access Stuff list.  I've never used them, as navigation forms didn't exist when I started using Access in the 90s.  They may be useful if you want to design forms that look like web pages (see pic below).  It's called "BrowseTo" probably because it lets you mimic the interface of a web browser, i.e. with tabs and pages.

I've actually got a video on BrowseTo coming up. And yes, you can simplify those parameters. The "ObjectType:=" for example, is optional. Kinda. :)
