Is it possible (and have any HelpTech videos been published) to have an Access form (populated with the appropriate fields in proper order) be automatically filled in by Access via a barcode/QR code scan from say a drivers license?

I will purchase the Bar Code Seminar because it has 4 other things I want understand about scanning and printing bar codes. I have read the description in detail and it does not answer the question I asked 8 days ago. My bar code( QR Code) delivers 15 pieces of information upon scan. I need the form to receive all 15 pieces of information and compare it to 2 tables (membership and registration) and print out name badge if the information matches. What seminar is that covered in?

Have you tested scanning the QR code and seeing what it adds to notepad?

Yes, that is how I know that the Driver's License QR Code generates 15 pieces of information. I know I need to have a form with at least 15 unbound text boxes that are the first 15 fields in tab order so when I fire the scanner it will populate each box in order.  But I need some help with the VBA that would fire on a button click event after the scan which would compare certain data in the scanned fields to data in 2-3 tables in the database. I was just asking if Richard would do an event check in tech help ( via scanner) which would log attendance and print a name badge. This would be for the Association series

So you could either have it add to a temp textbox first then you press a button and it splits the textbox by a newline and moves each to the given textbox
